Overview of Lending Library
The library has a wide variety of materials that are of interest to the public. These range from the traditional books and magazines to special materials such as Cultural Passes to Adventure and downloadable audiobooks and video for all ages, or material sets (kits) that are perfect for teachers, homeschool students, daycare providers, and more.
Searching and Special Searches
Use our Search page to conduct a general search of the catalog. The Help link from within the catalog will give more details about how to use the catalog if you need assistance, or you can speak with a librarian at your local library.

Cultural Passes
Cultural Passes to Adventure provide free admission to local attractions for varying numbers of guests. Passes are checked out for 24 hours each. Participating libraries have different passes available.
Downloadable Audio Books with Library2Go
Library2Go provides downloadable audio books for library patrons’ personal computers and MP3 players. Popular books are available 24/7. There is no need to return items and no late fees. Library2Go is free for all Washington County Cooperative Library Services cardholders.
Books on CD
Want to listen to your favorite book in the car, on the bus or at the gym? Take a look at our books on CD.
Books on Tape
Find English language adult fiction and non-fiction books on tape, as well as books on tape for kids and young adults.
Music
Looking for some new tunes or some old favorites? Find music for all ages on CDs and cassettes.
Videos
Whether you’re looking for entertainment or education, the library has a variety of DVDs and VHS videocassettes. You can find fiction or non-fiction DVDs for adults, kids, and young adults or reserve the latest new release.
To search for your favorite TV series, try a Keyword search instead. Enter the words DVD or Videocassette, season, and the title or artist names of your choice. Some sets include full seasons, while others may only include a single disc or tape, so look at the availability.
Spanish Materials
This is a list of non-book Spanish-language material types available in the libraries. Each clickable section of the list takes you to the catalog where it will show items available.
Teacher Resources
Teacher resources will be useful to teachers, homeschool students, daycare providers, and others. They include a range of materials from Themebags (items organized around a theme) to holiday books, music and videos, and big picture books.
