Donations to Forest Grove

There are many ways to support your library (from the Forest Grove Library website):

Volunteering

The Forest Grove Library welcomes volunteers for short-term projects. If you are interested in helping out, please leave your contact information at the circulation desk, and you may be invited to volunteer when there is an opportunity.

Friends of the Forest Grove Library

The Friends of the Forest Grove Library is made up of individuals, families and businesses who support the Forest Grove Library and its mission. Some members support the Friends simply by paying their annual dues, while others become more involved in the Friends' projects such as the Board, book sales, programs or special events.

The Friends enhance library services by providing materials and equipment beyond city and county funding, and through sponsorship of programs and special events. As advocates, members of the Friends promote awareness and usage of the library's resources and materials.

Membership forms are available at the Circulation Desk in the library, and dues are reasonable. Members receive the Friends' newsletters which provide updates on current issues and events relating to the Friends and the library. We hope you will join us!

The Library Foundation

The Forest Grove Library Foundation, established in 2000, raises community awareness of the city library and develops donated resources for special program initiatives, important capital needs, and a permanent endowment fund for the exclusive benefit of the Forest Grove City Library.

The Library Foundation completed a $1 million capital campaign in 2006 for renovation of the older part of the building and is currently fundraising for other library needs.
