Use Title Lists

You can create and save a title list that will remain in your account after you are done with your current session.

Two kinds of title lists:

The Working list:

• when you are collecting titles, or haven’t yet saved a list.
• This will be deleted when you end your session

Saved Title Lists (My Lists):

• You’ve given the list a title.
• It is saved with your account, so you can get back to it and edit it at any time in the future

• Log in to see your lists.
• The Add to my list link adds the title to your working list


• Clicking on the Remove link takes the title out of your working list


• If you are logged in, you will see both your saved lists and your working list on the left of the screen.
• If logged in, you can move titles between lists, delete items or lists, print, save or email any saved lists.
• Two ways to move titles from a working list: once logged in, click on the Show list details link to view the list. Then either click on the Create new saved title list link or choose New list in the Move to drop down. Then click the Move to button. Give your list a title, click Create list. Finish moving any other items you wish to move.


• You can also copy a title to a different list, if you wish to have the same item on more than one list.
• As you move items to saved lists, they will disappear from the working list.
• You can view your lists in various ways, including Chicago Manual of Style and APA, if you need those citation styles for school work, etc.
• You can print or email the list if desired. The email option sends the brief bibliographic display list as an image, so you can’t work with it once it is in the email format. APA and Chicago style lists come through as text and can be copied and manipulated.
• Deleting a list is simple. View the list you wish to delete, and then click the Delete List link
