In order to access Library2Go, you'll need a current library card that is in good standing. Here are answers to some frequently asked questions about library cards and Library2Go.
When I try to log in to Library2Go, I get this error message - "We're sorry, but the specified library patron account information is not valid."
This message could mean a number of things:
- Your card is expired
- Your card is not in our system any longer
- There are $50 or more charges on your account
- There is a block on your account
If you get this error message, contact your local library and they will be able to assist you.
I got a new library card number. How do I access the Library2Go holds and check-outs I have on the old number?
Send us your name, your old card number (if you have it), your new card number, and your email address using our online form. We will email you to confirm that we've requested an update for your account.
How do I get a library card?
I haven't used my library card in a number of years. Will it still work?
Probably not. WCCLS library cards expire every few years, and if they don't get renewed, they are removed from our system. If you get an error message when you try to log in, it may be because your card is no longer in our system. Contact your local WCCLS library to get a new library card, or renew your existing one.
