"Unable to acquire a license to play the selected title. Error 1003: The requested title is either invalid or already acquired."
Here are the instructions provided by OverDrive Support to correct this issue:
This error "usually occurs when trying to open a book by using a cached or saved .odm file. Please delete any saved .odm files, clear your web browser's cache, login to your library account, and download the title again. If prompted to "open" or "save" the .odm file, select "open" so OverDrive Media Console can acquire the license and allow you to download right away."
