Children's Programs
There’s always something happening for kids at the library with twelve libraries offering story-times for babies, toddlers, preschoolers and families. These include movement activities, rhymes, music, and more. Libraries also offer special programs such as Read to the Dogs, magic, comedy, movies, music and more.
Applying for a Library Card
Washington County Cooperative Library Services cards are available to those living in Washington County and in the Portland metro area. Complete the online application and bring it to your local library with a photo ID and verification of your address to get your card.

Just call 503-846-3245 to renew library items anytime of day or night. Have your library account number and PIN ready to access your account.

Borrowing Policies
Over one million items are available at the library including books, magazines, music, spoken CDs, movies, non-English language materials, story kits and more.
Interlibrary Loan
Interlibrary Loan (ILL) is a service through which you request materials that are not owned by libraries in Washington County. Interlibrary Loans come from other libraries around the country… and sometimes the world!
Homebound Services
Large print, books-on-CD, magazines, movies and more are mailed to Washington County residents who are physically unable to visit their local library.

Washington County Cooperative Library Services
Washington County Cooperative Library Services distributes county tax funds to partner libraries to provide library service to all county residents. It also provides central technology support to our library partners as well as a daily courier delivery, reference support, youth services support, outreach, and more.
