Early Childhood Literacy

  • WCCLS Librarians are licensed to teach parents and child care providers about literacy development in young children and how to incorporate literacy activities into children's lives.
  • Themebag kits specially designed for parents and child care providers are available for checkout at all member libraries.

  • Works with the Spanish-speaking community through library tours, classes for child care providers and parents, specially requested storytimes, and print materials
  • Assists member libraries in developing Spanish language programs, collections and services
  • Consults with member libraries on issues involving the Latino community

Mail Delivery to Homebound Residents
