Monday, March 30 4:30-5:30 PM Rope Baskets—Make a not so simple basket with fabric and rope. Monday, April 27 4:30-5:30 PM Perler Bead Portraits-Create your favorite characters with perler beads.

4:00 PM to 8:00 PM - West Slope Community Library: Gather your friends and meet up at the library for a fun evening of gaming!Every final Tuesday of the month, adults and teens are invited to drop by and play through our stack of games. Try a hot new card game like Love Letter, a heavy strategy game like Puerto Rico, or a cooperative game like Pandemic. Or, you can bring your own game to play and share.Each month, we will feature a different game in the middle of the session, which we will play together as a group to help everyone learn the rules. This month's featured game will be 10 Days in Africa/Europe, a fun and quick travel adventure game. No registration required.

- Beaverton City Library: April is National Poetry Month! The Beaverton City Library challenges teens to write Irregular Odes – up to three may be submitted per entrant. The Library Foundation will award $100, $50 and $25 prizes to three winners in middle school (grades 6-8) and high school (grades 9-12) divisions. Full guidelines and an entry form will be posted prior to April 1 at http://www.beavertonlibrary.org/teens on the events page. Read your entries at the poetry coffeehouse May 7! Winners will be posted to the events page May 8. Grades 6-12. Contest dates are Wednesday, April 1 - Wednesday, April 22.

5:30 PM to 7:30 PM - Cedar Mill Library: 4 week class for teens/tweens interested in learning how to program our new Finch Robots. Programming will be in Scratch and students will learn how to move the robots, light up their beaks and navigate around obstacles. All day event - West Slope Community Library: We invite you to join us for the 3rd annual International TableTop Day, a day when people around the world gather together for the common purpose of having fun and playing board games. We'll have tables reserved for board gamers of all ages, and staff and volunteers on hand to recommend and teach games. Choose from the library's large lending collection of board games, or bring your own to play and share.Door prizes will be given out at the end of the day. All fans of tabletop gaming are welcome, regardless of age or skill level. As the TableTop Day slogan says: 'Play more games!'
