From November 4th - 10th, the public libraries of Washington County invite you to celebrate the power music and play have in helping kids get ready to read. Join us for a series of interactive concerts featuring some of the best children’s musicians around!

Jim Gill’s concerts are an active blend of music and play. He bangs out energetic rhythms on his banjo while encouraging everyone to clap, jump, dance and even sneeze along. His unique approach to music is based on the idea that family play is more important to young children than music alone. Jim’s music play creates a family room atmosphere in each and every concert hall he visits!

Jim Gill is an award-winning musician and author, as well as as child development specialist.

Music in Action! is a bilingual and upbeat mix of songs, creative movement, story telling and comedy, all imbued with a healthy dose of good, clean fun.

Rich Glauber is a gifted troubadour/music educator who specializes in creating interactive musical experiences for participants of all ages.
