Summer reading at WCCLS is social! Just by sharing a summer reading photo from June 1st to August 25th, you will be entered into random prize drawings, including the chance to win four tickets to a Blazers home game!
Sharing Your Photos
It’s easy to share your photos! To be entered in the random prize drawing (including four tickets to a Trail Blazers home game), share your photos from June 1st until August 25th, with the hashtags mentioned below.
- Facebook: post your photo on WCCLS’ wall, along with the tag #WCCLSreads in the description
- Twitter: tweet your photo with the #WCCLSreads hashtag
- Pinterest: pin your photo, adding the #WCCLSreads tag
Here are some ideas to get you started:
- You and your WCCLS library materials or library card on vacation
- Your kids with their noses in a book
- The latest haul from the library in your bike basket
- Your current read and a glass of lemonade next to the lounge chair in the backyard
We will be sharing photo theme ideas on social media to inspire you throughout the summer.
Portland Thorns tickets: all #WCCLSreads entries received before midnight on Sunday, July 28th will be entered to win a pair of tickets to the Portland Thorns game on August 4th at 5:30 pm. Thank you to the Portland Thorns for donating the tickets!
Otherwise, we’ll be doing a random drawing every two weeks from all the photos submitted in that time frame. The prize will be suitably seasonal, and will include a zippered WCCLS tote bag – perfect to carry your reading wherever your summer takes you. Share your photos from June 1st until August 25th.
All photos submitted will also be entered into a random drawing at the end of the summer to win four tickets to a 2013 Trail Blazers home game, or four tickets to see The Great Gatsby, presented by Bag and Baggage. Thank you to the Blazers and to Bag and Baggage for their generous donations!
