From the Beaverton City Library website:

Would you like to work with books or other library materials? Would you like to help behind the scenes to make materials ready for check-out? Would you like to help with special projects or programming?

The Beaverton City Library is one of the busiest libraries in the state and requires the help of dedicated volunteers to meet the needs of our growing population in the Beaverton area. The Library strives to offer services to the entire community by providing materials and service that cross cultural, economic and educational boundaries.

Volunteers help the Library provide a high level of service at a low cost to the community. You can help provide essential services by volunteering.

Types of jobs available:

• Shelving.
• Preparing materials for library check-out.
• Children’s and Adult’s computer assistants.
• Assistance with library programs.
• Library Foundation Board Members.
