About the Library

The nonprofit Aloha Community Library opened in September 2012 to provide engaging library services to the unincorporated community of Aloha.  Located opposite Mountain View Middle School in a thriving commercial center, ACL focuses on serving the needs of its diverse and multilingual patrons with an ever growing collection of printed materials and DVDs, as well as providing internet, printing, and copying access.  ACL maintains strong ties to its local community through outreach such as Lego Free Play sessions, weekly toddler and family storytimes, a book club, and a robust volunteer program.

5:00 PM to 6:00 PM - Aloha Community Library: Need practice reading? Sign up for a session of Reading Buddies at the Aloha Community Library! Kids can improve their reading skills and make a new friend by reading aloud to a trained therapy animal. Read with a dog on second or fourth Mondays, or with a cat on third Mondays. Sessions are 15 minutes each between 5:00 and 6:00 pm. Please contact the library at (503) 259-0185 or visit the circulation desk to register.
