As a courtesy, WCCLS sends a reminder 3 days before library items are due to cardholders who have selected to receive library notifications by email.
WCCLS notifies cardholders by email, phone, SMS, or mail when items are overdue. Bills are sent when items are overdue for 25 days. Please return materials promptly and pay fees. You may monitor your account:
- Online: Log into your account 24 hours a day. Be prepared to enter your username or library barcode and password when prompted.

Visit the Get Reminders webpage for more information.
Three days before your item’s due date, our system will try to automatically renew it. If successful, the item due date will be extended. If you have provided the library with an email address, you will receive a notification letting you know which items were renewed and which items are due soon. Most items can be renewed up to 4 times.
Please be aware that automatic renewal (and renewing items manually) may be blocked under some conditions, including:
- Someone is waiting for the item and another copy is not available
- You need to renew your library account
- Your item has already been renewed the maximum number of times
WCCLS does not charge late fees for overdue library materials. However, if an item is overdue for 25 days, it is considered missing and a replacement fee will billed to your account. The bill is removed if the item is returned in good condition. Please remember to return items on time to help keep wait times down for other patrons.
- Cardholders will be charged replacement costs for items that are lost or not returned
- Cardholders may be charged for damages to borrowed items
- Replacement copies are not accepted
Borrowing privileges are suspended on accounts with $20 or more in outstanding in fees and charges.
Note: WCCLS will never text or call you about any fees associated with your account.
Some materials, such as items from the Library of Things or board games, must be returned to the owning library where they were checked out.
You can return other materials to any WCCLS member library.
