September is Library Card Sign-Up Month

Win a free tote bag and Kindle. Tell your friends!
Adventure responsibly Washington County libraries. Get lost in a great book.

September is library card sign-up month. Starting September 7, new cardholders will receive a free tote bag and vinyl sticker while supplies last. Anyone who signs up for a card in September will automatically be entered to win a Kindle. Tell your neighbors!

If you need some talking points, tell them a WCCLS library card lets you borrow any of the county’s 1.5 million items from any of our 16 library locations. You can also read The New York Times, stream movies, download e-books and gain new skills through LinkedIn Learning. Did we mention it’s all free?

Two tote bags. One says "Sorry my weekend is booked" and the other says "Books ... helping introverts avoid conversation since 1454."

Current cardholders

If you already have a library card, we haven't forgotten about you! Follow WCCLS on social media for a chance to snag one of our snazzy new tote bags and sticker of your choice (see above). Watch for weekly giveaways every Tuesday in September on Facebook, InstagramTwitter and Facebook (Spanish).

Every week you enter is another chance to win the grand prize Kindle at the end of September.

You can also visit your local library and pick up a free sticker while supplies last. Then here comes the fun part ... place the sticker on your water bottle, laptop or skateboard and share it on social media. Tag WCCLS and include the hashtag #IGotCardedWCCLS. We'll share some of our favorites.

Rules and eligibility

You can enter once per week per social media platform. Weekly giveaway closes at noon on Thursday. Winners will be chosen at random and announced on Thursdays. Winner must be a current WCCLS cardholder. Library staff, board members and their families are not eligible for prizes.

Giveaway is not affiliated with Facebook, Instagram or Twitter.
